Waterford Township now has a permanent MedReturn Drug Collection Unit.

Citizens looking to dispose of excess and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications can now visit the safe and secure permanent drop off location at the Waterford Township Municipal Building.

The Waterford Township Municipal Alliance and the G.C.A.D.A has partnered with The Waterford Township Police Department to establish a permanent MedReturn drug collection program in order to reduce the supply of drugs that can potentially harm teens and adults.

The collection site is open during business hours 8:30 – 4:30. Drugs can be dropped off right in the box which is in the hallway of the municipal building, with no questions asked. Please also watch for our Take- Back Prescription Drug Day sometime in the spring 2014.

We accept the following Prescriptions: Patches, Over-The- Counter Meds, Vitamins, and Medications for Pets.

We DO NOT ACCEPT: Thermometers, Hydrogen Peroxide, Inhalers, Needles, Aerosol Cans, and Meds From Business Clinics.
