Waterford Township is pleased to announce the appointment of Committeeman Howard Wilson as liaison to the Veterans of our Township.
Mr. Wilson will be working with Jaki Fanelli to develop a program specifically designed to assist the needs of our Veterans. Ms. Fanelli has an extensive background helping Veterans. The program will include providing contact information for various organizations and entities established to aid veterans as well as a list of those businesses which offer discounts for veterans.
Mr. Wilson will also be available to discuss any problems Veterans are experiencing with the Township or any other problem where special assistance is needed. The Township will also explore assembling a team of volunteers to aid Veterans with any tasks around the home in those instances where help is needed.
Details of these programs will be made available shortly after the new year.
The Township would also like to announce that the County has approved a combat wounded parking sign on Atco Avenue in front of the American Legion.
To all our Veterans, we extend a heartfelt thank you for your sacrifice and service.
