Department of Public Works is Hiring!

Waterford Township is accepting applications for the position of laborer for the Department of Public Works. Duties include but are not limited to buildings and ground maintenance, grass cutting, storm sewer maintenance, trash truck driving/operation, road maintenance, snow plowing, paving, and driving vehicles that require a Class B CDL. Applicants should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand and carry out verbal instructions. Applicants must be able to safely operate grass cutting equipment, chainsaws, chippers, snow blowers, leaf machines, and similar equipment as directed. Applicant must also have a valid NJ Driver’s license with a Class B CDL endorsement with air brakes. Successful applicants must undergo a background check and drug test prior to employment. Employment is expected to begin ASAP. Interested applicants must complete an employment application on the Township website https://waterfordtwp.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Employment-Application.pdf or by emailing the Township Clerk, Dawn Liedtka at clerk@waterfordtwp.org. Applications can be emailed to the Township Clerk or dropped off at the Municipal Building at 2131 Auburn Avenue, Atco, NJ in an envelope marked ATTN Township Clerk.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Waterford, Camden County, State of New Jersey that the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM prevailing time, except when otherwise noted, in the Municipal Building, 2131 Auburn Avenue, Atco, New Jersey that the dates are hereby designated the Regular Official Township Committee meeting nights for the period commencing January 1, 2025 and through December 31, 2025 as follows:

February 12, 2025	July 9, 2025
March 12, 2025	August 13, 2025
April 9, 2025	September 10, 2025
May 14, 2025	October 8, 2025

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Waterford, Camden County, State of New Jersey that the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM prevailing time, except when otherwise noted, in the Municipal Building, 2131 Auburn Avenue, Atco, New Jersey that the dates are hereby designated the Regular/Workshop Official Township Committee meeting nights for the period commencing January 1, 2025 and through December 31, 2025 as follows:
